Upgrades

Patch to update from RootsMagic 3.x to 3.2.5

1. Make sure RootsMagic is not running.
2. CLICK HERE to download an update file to update RootsMagic from 3.x to 3.2.5.
3. You will be asked if you want to "Open" (or "Run") or "Save" the file.  Choose "Run" or "Open".
4. After the file has downloaded it will run.  Follow the prompts.
5. You can then start RootsMagic, and do "Help > About" and make sure it says you are now using version 3.2.5.

Patch to update from RootsMagic 2.x to 2.04a

1. CLICK HERE to download a patch to update RootsMagic from 2.x to 2.04a.
2. You will be asked if you want to "Open" or "Save" the file. Choose "Save".
3. Change the "Save in" to Desktop to save the file (named rm204a.exe) to your desktop.
4. After downloading the patch you will have a new shortcut on your desktop (it looks like a yellow circle).
5. Make sure RootsMagic is not running, then double click that new icon to run the patch program and follow the directions.
6. You can then start RootsMagic, and do "Help > About" and make sure it says you are now using version 2.04a.

If you have version 1.x:

1. CLICK HERE to download a patch to update RootsMagic 1.x to version 1.04b. 
2. You will be asked if you want to "Open" or "Save" the file.
