Go to C drive - windows - Downloaded Installations. Open each folder in turn and delete anything referencing RootsMagic (e.g. RootsMagic 2.0.msi, RootsMagic.msi, RootsMagic Demo.msi.).

Or

Got to "My Computer" - "Control Panel" - "Add Remove Programs" - "Add New Programs" - "CD or Floppy" and follow on screen instructions.

Or

In some rare cases the installation CD can be damaged. Try downloading the demo. If you can install the demo then your CD is damaged or dirty.

Please try disabling any anti virus, firewall and pop-up blocker software before trying to download the file. If you have Norton suite please be sure to disable all of it. Sometimes these programs see downloads as threats and therefore you will receive a file that is 0kb in size. Some people have found that adding the site as "Trusted" in the firewall settings has helped. Problems can also occur if you are using download accelerator/management software.

We have also found that Windows XP firewall can interfere with downloads so please disable it. You can do this by going to "Control Panel" - "Security Center".

You could also try copying and pasting the link into your browser address bar instead of clicking on the link.
