Hello,

New to Forum, think Roots Magic V3 is really good.

I need to reinstall Windows on my laptop as its going wobbly, it was pre installed with Vista Home Premium when I bought it, unf. we can't find the disks that we made when Laptop was new so can't reinstall Vista. Now considering of buying and installing Windows 7.

Can someone tell me if Roots Magic 3 will work with Windows 7?

I have backed RM3 to both a CD and an external hardrive.

Officially support for Windows 7 was only available in version 4. Version 3 may not work.

Basically you will have to try it or just upgrade to V4.
