Hi

I have two databaases in Rootsmagic which I thought were identical but it seems I have worked on both at different times. How do I merge the two ?

I have tried dragging and dropping people from one to other but as I use a lapot this does not seem to work

Any ideas would be very welcome

Hi Bekki,

You can drag-and-drop one database into another on a laptop, there shouldn't be any problems with this. You can use the touch-pad and buttons like you would a normal mouse.

Once you've dragged-and-droppped one database into another, you can use the Merge tools to merge any duplicate individuals. Click on Tools -> Merge -> Duplicate Search Merge to search for any duplicates.
