I think it would be good to have the option to include the date of christening in the family view. I don't know the actual date of birth for many of my ancestors, but I do know when they were christened. So date of christening is more useful to me in those instances than a column for date of birth.
Obviously not everyone is of the Christian faith, so it would be best to have this as an opt-in option, with a possibility to replace the date of birth column with a date of christening or baptism column.
